Ain Sohkna – Mubasher: Suez Industrial Development Company (SIDC), a subsidiary of Orascom Construction Plc, is developing an 8.7 million-square-metre industrial park at the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) in Ain Sokhna with around EGP 65 billion in investments, chairman of SIDC said.
SIDC is one of the main developers at SCZone, Amr El Batrik remarked during his visit to the southern area of SCZone on Saturday.
The utility owner and developer has been able to attract several foreign and local investors of around 60 industrial firms, El Batrik added.
He further noted that SIDC has provided 15,000 direct and indirect jobs.
