Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) approved lending the Saudi Calcined Petroleum Coke Company (SCPC) an SAR 300 million loan to establish a plant in Jubail Industrial City.
The company’s products will be manufactured in the Kingdom for the first time with a production capacity of 666,000 tonnes of Calcined Petroleum Coke annually, which Saudi Arabia imports, Al-Jazirah newspaper reported, citing chairman Mohammed Al Qaryan, as saying.
Enough quantities of feedstock have been secured for the project with seven-year contracts, subject for renewal, the board member and managing director Mohamed Albeibi said .
