Riyadh - Mubasher: STC Solutions has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with F5 Networks, the global company specialized in application services, in a move to provide new solutions designed to help DevOps, NetOps, and SecOps teams better collaborate in delivering modern applications quickly and securely.
For the first time, teams can fundamentally change application delivery at every step of the lifecycle, from code to customer.
The new deal, which has been signed at GITEX Technology week, will ensure STC customers can benefit from F5’s recent NGNIX acquisition, according to STC Solutions’ statement on Thursday.
“With NGINX’s open-source core and F5’s secure enterprise platform, Saudi Arabian businesses will be able to deploy both traditional and modern applications that are agile, flexible, and high‑performance, all without sacrificing governance, reliability, and security,” Jehad Altwairki, vice president of Business Solutions, STC Solutions, commented.
Altwairki added that the combined portfolio of F5 and its NGINX business is a powerful option for STC customers.
“It is now possible to deploy a coordinated set of technologies that span the entire application delivery path from code running on the application or web server – through all the necessary transport, security, and management services – to the end customer,” Mamduh Allam, regional director of F5 Networks at Saudi Arabia and North Africa, said.
According to IDC, an estimated 75% of organizations will be completely digitally transformed over the coming ten years, with a steady migration toward integrated, real-time digital experiences driving an explosion of applications.
“There is now unprecedented pressure to examine new application architectures; the same IDC research noted that, by 2022, 90% of all new apps will feature a microservices architecture, and 35% of all production apps will be cloud-native,” the statement highlighted.
