Kuwait-Mubasher: Saudi Telecom Company’s (STC) proposal of acquiring Kuwait’s Viva has met all conditions, Capital Markets Authority’s chairman Nayef Al-Hajraf said in a press conference held Sunday.
Viva earlier announced the CMA’s approval on the voluntary proposal by STC to acquire 74% of the Kuwaiti firm’s shares; 499.4 million shares.
Sources have told Mubasher that the proposed purchase price is between KWD 1.06 and KWD 1.08.
