Riyadh – Mubasher: The foundation stone for the Jubail 3A Independent Water Plant (IWP) project was laid under the patronage of the Saudi Water Partnership Company’s (SWPC) CEO, Khaled Z AlQureshi.
The ceremony was attended by board chairmen of ACWA Power and Jubail 3A Company as well as senior officials from Al Bawani Water & Power Company (AWP) and Jazlah Water Desalination Company, according to a statement on Tuesday.
With an investment value of $650 million, the Jubail 3A IWP will generate 600,000 m3 of potable water per day, significantly contributing to Saudi Arabia’s efforts to ensure water security.
