Sadara raises capital to SAR28bn

Riyadh - Mubasher: Sadara Basic Services Company announced that its mother company (Sadara) will raise the company’s capital through loans from its partners, and will amend the foundation contract as per the recommendation and the approval of its shareholders.

The company said in a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Monday, that the mother company will increase capital by 15.5% from SAR 24.187 billion to SAR 27.94 billion.

The number of shares, with a nominal value of SAR 10 per share, has increased from 2.42 billion to 2.79 billion shares, with no changes in the owners’ stakes nor a financial impact, according to the statement.
