Dubai – Mubasher: Islamic Arab Insurance Co’s (Salama) board of directors has approved to elect Jassim Alseddiqi as the company’s chairman and Saeed Mubarak Al-Hajeri as vice chairman.
The board also announced the appointment of Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri as a new board member, Salama highlighted in a statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
Last week, Salama said that Khalid bin Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan has resigned as the company’s chairman.
It is worth noting that Salama previously reported a 9% year-on-year increase in its net profit for the first quarter of 2019, recording AED 18 million, versus AED 16.5 million in Q1-18.
