Dubai – Mubasher: Consumer cooperative outlets in the UAE registered AED 7.16 billion in sales during the full-year 2017, the Consumer Cooperative Union’s chairman Majid Hamad Rahma Al Shamsi stated on Thursday.
The number of cooperative outlets’ subscribers increased by 8.17% year-on-year to 77,331 in the last four quarters, Al Shamsi added.
The outlets across the nation reached 164, covering the most populated areas, the top official revealed.
The Consumer Cooperative Union plans to open 16 outlets this year, the chairman concluded.
