Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian housing ministry said that sales of specification books of 30,000 land plots offered by New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for the low-, middle- and high-income people amounted to EGP 26.5 million.
The citizens have bought 36,693 books of specifications since 2 May until 5 July, the ministry added.
The price of specification booklets of the plots allocated for the low-income earners is EGP 500, while it amounts to EGP 1,000 and EGP 1,500 for the ones allocated for the middle- and high-income brackets, respectively.
The sale of specification books will continue until Sunday, 22 July, at all Housing and Development Bank’s (HDB) branches.
Land plots of the social housing will locate in 10th of Ramadan, El Salheya El Gedida, Sadat, and other cities.
Meanwhile, the plots of the middle and high-income segments will locate in New 6th of October, Badr, 10th of Ramadan, New Cairo, El Shorouk, in addition to further areas.
