Riyadh – Mubasher: Samba Financial Group’s net profits levelled up by 0.4% on an annual basis during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020 to SAR 1.2 billion.
The marginal rise in profit was helped by an increase in operating income by 12%, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.
The bank's total operating expenses jumped by 29% during the quarter.
Revenue for the quarter ended in September 2020 tumbled by 16.1% year-on-year (YoY) to reach SAR 1.76 billion.
During the first nine months of the year, the lender registered SAR 3.5 billion worth of profit, a YoY rise of 7.3%.
