Cairo – Mubasher: Samcrete Misr reported a 119% year-on-year profit growth during 2018, the company’s standalone financial results showed.
Net profits amounted to EGP 211 million last year, compared to EGP 96.36 million in 2017, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the company’s revenues rose to EGP 3.37 billion in the twelve-month period ended 31 December from EGP 2.59 billion a year earlier.
It is noteworthy that during the first half of 2019, Samcrete Misr logged a profit of EGP 76.2 million, compared to EGP 35.07 million in the year-ago period.
In July, the EGX started to halt trading on four stocks including Samcrete Misr’s stock for not disclosing the financial statements for 2018.
