Riyadh – Mubasher: Samnan Petroleum Services signed a contract with Al Marai to supply electronic diesel pumps to implement an electronic fuel station, Alriyadh newspaper reported.
The station consists of two strategic storage units at a capacity of 1.2 million letres each, which will be installed and manufactured in the site according to the European systems and designs, Abdulrahman Sulaiman, Samnan CEO said on Tuesday.
The company's CEO noted that the fuel pumps will be of the French Tokheim brand.
The station is the first of kind in the Kingdom to provide the transport and supply divisions in Al Marai with fuel, as the company owns the biggest transportation fleet in the Middle East, with 8,000 vehicles, according to Alriyadh newspaper.
The newspaper added that the station is distinguished by including "the smart fuel system" produced also by (Tokheim) company, adding to the automatic storage monitoring systems to control the fuel quantity in the inventories.
