Cairo – Mubasher: Chemplast Sanmar has announced that it intends to invest $300 million to improve its projects’ performance in Egypt, according to Livemint website.
The amount will be invested in doubling the productive power to 400 tonnes of PVC material, deputy chairman Vijay Sankar stated.
Earlier in April, the Egyptian minister of foreign affairs had said that Sanmar aims to boost its investments in Egypt by $350 million to establish a new production line for the company's plant in Port Said.
The group’s total amount of investments after new expansions in Egypt reached $1.45 billion.
