Riyadh – Mubasher: Trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and the U.S. increased last year to $74 billion, said Abdullah Saleh Jumah, chairman of the Saudi side of the US-Saudi Arabian Business Council.
Speaking to the Saudi-U.S. Business Opportunities Forum taking place in Riyadh, Jumah added that the kingdom is considered the twelfth biggest trade partner for the U.S., as Saudi oil exports to the U.S. amounted to nearly $20 billion in 2015, and the U.S. has the biggest share of foreign direct investment in the kingdom.
The chairman also indicated that the U.S. targets major investment opportunities in the kingdom’s ITC, education, water and energy, and industrial development sectors.
