Saudi Alhokail boosts footprint in Bahrain with $13.2m investment

Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s medical services provider Alhokail Medical Group announced plans to inaugurate its first full-fledged digital medical complex in Bahrain at a value of $13.2 million.

Total investments of Alhokail Medical Group in Bahrain amounted to BHD 5 million (SAR 50 million), Al Ayam newspaper reported, citing Ahmed Al Neama, CEO of Alhokail medical complex in Bahrain, as saying.

The new complex marks the first step of the Saudi group’s strategic expansion plan in the GCC region, Alhokail Medical Group’s chairman Amajd Alhokail said.

Costs of the first phase of the new medical project in Bahrain reached about BHD 1 million and the group plans to invest BHD 2 million in the second phase by opening new cosmetic clinics.

Alhokail Medical Group also aims to open branches in Kuwait and the UAE as part of its expansion plan.
