Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia is in talks with Oman and the UAE over establishing a regional gas network in the coming period, the kingdom’s energy minister said on Tuesday.
The Saudi Arabian Oil Co, known internationally as Saudi Aramco, seeks to develop gas sources in the country in a bid to meet local demand, with expectations to start gas exports in the near future, Khalid al-Falih added on the sidelines of the 2019 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) launched on Monday in Dubai, Reuters reported.
The Saudi official further highlighted a slew of recent gas finds in the oil-rich nation.
Earlier on Tuesday, al-Falih stated that the kingdom plans to build international energy hub in the coming period.
