Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai's non-oil trade with Saudi Arabia reached AED 44.65 billion in 2015, a 12% increase from AED 40 billion during the same period of 2014, according to a data released by Dubai Customs.
The total value of Dubai’s trade with the GCC states rose 8% to AED 96.19 billion in the first nine months of 2015, compared to figures from the same period of 2014.
The KSA accounted for 46.4%of Dubai-GCC trade, followed by Oman at 18.7% or AED 18 billion, Kuwait at 15.4% or AED 14.87 billion, Qatar at 12.3% or AED 11.91 billion, and finally Bahrain at 7% or AED 6.75 billion.
Dubai's non-oil trade with Saudi Arabia jumped 61% to AED 51.7 billion in 2014 from AED 32.2 billion in 2015, said Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation.
