Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia has officially suspended all travel to China for Saudi citizens and other residents in the kingdom, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Citizens violating the decision could face legal liability, while residents who will travel to China would not be allowed back into Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi General Directorate of Passports.
Saudi Arabia recently announced that all travellers to the Kingdom are required to disclose whether they have visited China two weeks prior to their arrival.
This all part of the efforts to combat the outbreak of the new coronavirus, which is believed to have originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan before spreading to other Chinese territories, as well as 28 countries.
Around 28,300 have been recorded with the virus, of which there have been 565 deaths, while 1,286 patients recovered.
