Saudi Arabia confirms 5 coronavirus cases; Egyptian expat included

Riyadh – Mubasher: Health authorities in Saudi Arabia reported that five new patients tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing total infections in the kingdom to 20 so far, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

Three of the five cases are Saudi citizens who underwent a quarantine period after they had returned from Iran and Iraq. 

The fourth case is a citizen who suffered from mild respiratory symptoms, while the fifth case is an Egyptian expatriate who showed mild symptoms.     

All patients are currently placed under quarantine.

Yesterday, the Saudi health ministry confirmed total virus infections of 15 in the kingdom.
