Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Arabia has severed its commercial ties with Iran, said Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir.
He added that Saudi nationals will be prevented from travelling to Iran, noting that Iranian pilgrims are still welcomed by the kingdom, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported.
Saudi Arabia had also cut its diplomatic ties with Iran over the storming of the Saudi Embassy in Tehran, following the execution of Saudi Shiite cleric Nimr Al-Nimr.
