Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi minister of environment, water, and agriculture, Abdurrahman Al-Fadli signed on Thursday a contract to establish the new pumping stations and extension of pipelines for water transport system (Arafat - Taif).
Total investments in the project amount to SAR 984.74 million, and it will need 1,460 days to be completed, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
According to the minister, the deal will help in pumping desalinated water to Makkah and Jeddah.
