Riyadh - Mubasher: The total value of initial public offerings (IPOs) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region rose during the third quarter of 2018 by 21.9% year-on-year, according to a recent report by Ernst and Young (E&Y).
The report showed that although the number of offerings decreased by 33.3% to only four, valued rose to around $350 million.
Saudi Arabia led the region’s IPOs, accounting for $220.6 million of the total value.
Regional market are facing local and international challenges, amidst pressures on emerging markets and rising concerns of a trade war that could hamper global growth.
