Saudi Arabia posts SAR 23.6bn trade surplus in April

Riyadh – Mubasher: The trade balance of Saudi Arabia registered a surplus of SAR 23.6 billion in April 2017, compared with SAR 8.4 billion in the same month of the prior year, according to a recent report by the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat).

The country’s exports amounted to SAR 66.4 billion in April, while imports totalled SAR 42.8 billion, the report added.

In a recent report, the authority said that Kingdom’s oil exports stood at SAR 51.9 billion in April 2017, compared to SAR 38.5 billion in the same month of 2016.
