Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Health has registered 1,912 new cases with the coronavirus (COVID-19) to a total of 39,048 cases.
Seven mortalities were recorded bringing the total number of deaths from the virus in the kingdom to 246, the ministry spokesman said on Sunday in a press conference.
On the other hand, 1,313 more cases have recovered, raising the number of recoveries to 11,457 until now.
Among the reported infections, 27,345 cases are receiving medical treatment, while 143 are in critical condition.
Moreover, 35% of the new cases are Saudi nationals, while 65% are of other nationalities.
The ministry’s spokesperson added that 8% of the cases are of children, while 89% are adults, 3% are of the elderly aged 65 or older. Males accounted for 79% of the new cases, while females represented 21% of the total.
