Saudi Arabia’s int’l reserves shrink by over SAR 5.5bn in April

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s foreign reserves declined 0.3% year-on-year, or SAR 5.543 billion in April, according to the monthly report of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), released on Tuesday.

The kingdom’s foreign reserves reached SAR 1.894 trillion last month, compared to SAR 1.899 trillion in the year-ago period.

Month-on-month, the value of Saudi foreign reserves rose 1.1%, or SAR 20.79 billion, to SAR 1.873 trillion in April.
