Saudi Arabia’s investments bolster global energy security - Al Mubarak

Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s investments in strategic infrastructure have helped safeguard global energy security and strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a reliable economic partner, Assistant Minister of Investment Ibrahim Al Mubarak said. 

Al Mubarak made the remarks during the Saudi-Russian Business Dialogue session held on the sidelines of the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

He highlighted the Kingdom’s resilience in ensuring uninterrupted energy supplies, enhancing logistics connectivity, and advancing Saudi Vision 2030. 

The assistant minister also added that Saudi Arabia has become a trusted economic partner, turning global challenges into opportunities for growth and investment through its successful transformation journey. 

Al Mubarak said the Kingdom’s investment vision goes beyond attracting capital by creating sustainable economic value through technology transfer, knowledge localization, talent development, and private-sector growth.

He pointed to strong potential for cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Russia in food security, agriculture, industry, technology, and logistics.

The Assistant Minister emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s participation as the guest of honor at the forum reflects the strength of its historic ties with Russia and coincides with the centennial anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
