Riyadh - Mubasher: The money supply (M3) of Saudi Arabia grew by 5.98% to SAR 3.35 trillion during the first four months (4M) of 2026, compared to SAR 3.16 trillion at the end of 2025.
This increase translates to a SAR 189.59 billion growth during January-April 2026 when compared to the end of December 2025.
On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the money supply rose by around 10% to reflect a SAR 305.38 billion increase in 4M-26 when compared to SAR 3.05 trillion recorded at the end of April 2025, according to data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
On a monthly basis, money supply edged up by SAR 49.99 billion (1.50%) in April from SAR 3.307 trillion at the end of March 2026.
As of 31 December 2025, Saudi Arabia’s money supply increased by SAR 246.30 billion roughly (8.43%) YoY to SAR 3.16 trillion from SAR 2.92 trillion.
