Saudi Arabia's non-oil GDP growth seen slower – SAMA

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's non-oil gross domestic product (GDP) growth is expected to slow to 2.8% in 2016, compared to 3.4% in 2015, said governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), Ahmed al-Kholifey.

In an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV channel , Al-Kholifey suggested that the above mentioned growth rate is good given the developments in oil markets.

The governor also noted that the improvement in oil prices had a positive impact on government revenues from oil. He added that Britain’s exit from the European Union (EU) will not have a significant impact on the Kingdom's financial sector.
