Riyadh – Mubasher: Salaries for mid-level to senior professionals in Saudi Arabia are expected to increase by an average ranging between 5% to 6% during this year, Cooper Fitch said in a report.
The Dubai-based recruitment consultancy forecast Saudi female employees to grow by 15% in 2019.
The firm’s report further indicated that the GCC nation’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth would see more than a 3% improvement, previously projected by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), on the back of a support lent by non-oil activities.
The non-oil growth will be propped up by the kingdom’s Vision 2030, along with a continued boost of Saudi megaprojects such as Red sea, Neom, Riyadh Gate and others, Cooper Fitch noted.
“Another driver for growth will rest within privatisation and public-private partnerships, while the implementation of VAT has helped stabilise Saudi’s non-oil-based revenue,” the report found.
