Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia has decided to suspend all international flights for a period of two weeks as of tomorrow, Sunday 15 March.
Apart from exceptional cases, all flights will be suspended as part of the preventive and precautionary measures to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The two-week period will be considered an exceptional holiday for citizens and expatriates who could not return to their work due to the flight suspension, or were in quarantine after their return.
It is worth noting that the World Health Organization (WHO) recently announced the outbreak of the new virus as a global pandemic, after spreading to 117 countries.
