Saudi Arabia to allocate SAR200bn to boost private sector

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia will allocate an amount up to SAR 200 billion ($5.3 billion) from the governmental subsidies to boost the private sector until 2020, said Trade and Investment Minister Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.

This amount comes in the framework of a financial reform program the Kingdom announced earlier in parallel with 2017 budget, according to al-Arabiya.

“An incentives between SAR50 billion to SAR60 billion is expected to be directed to the Saudi private sector in 2017,” added Al-Qasabi.
