Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) chairman Rumih Al Rumaih on Tuesday has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation to establish a land bridge that will link the Red Sea ports with the Persian Gulf through a railway.
The deal was signed on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference, dubbed “Davos in the Desert”. The mega investment event commenced in Riyadh on Tuesday and runs until Thursday, 25 October.
The project's investment and timeframe were not revealed.
