Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) on Thursday said that the development of terminal 3 and terminal 4 at the King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) will cost around SAR 2.2 billion.
After the expansion, the terminals’ capacities will reach 11 million passengers on an annual basis, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the state-run aviation body added.
The project is part of major investments launched recently by King Salman, the authority noted.
The GACA said that around 11.65% of the project, which is in line with Saudi Vision 2030, has been completed.
