Saudi Arabia to host Marketing Innovation Forum in April

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Marketing Innovation Forum (MIF) is set to take place in Riyadh on 6-7 April 2020.

The forum covers several key topics, from digital marketing strategy to building a data-driven approach.

The event will also feature the Marketing Leader Awards to recognize outstanding Saudi marketing leaders, MarTech Vibe said in a statement on Wednesday.

The initial speaker list includes Rami Zahran, Chief Marketing Officer, Saudi German Hospitals; Nicole Duemens, Chief Marketing Officer, Alyasra Fashion; Runaas Deheem, Chief Marketing Officer, Emaar – the Economic City, and others.

Saudi Arabia ranks 3rd globally in terms of smartphone usage with 24.2 million users, and almost 75% of the population using smartphones.

The Kingdom also has over 19 million social media users and has witnessed a growth in the e-commerce industry, with user penetration expected to hit 73% by 2023, up from 66% in 2019.

Saudi Arabia is witnessing huge change and diversification from a natural resources-based economy to becoming a digitally-enabled trade, and an innovation hub powered by digital technology.
