Saudi Arabia to launch car driving schools for women

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi General Department of Traffic has announced signing an agreement with Tatweer Education Holding Company to establish five car driving schools for women in the kingdom.

The schools will be located in Hail, Al Jawf, Northern Borders, Jazan, and Najran regions, according to Tatweer’s official Twitter account.

On Sunday, the GCC nation’s General Department of Traffic allowed women who own licence to start driving.

In September 2017, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a decree to lift the ban on women driving in the kingdom.
