Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia will supply India with an additional 4 million barrels of crude oil during November, informed sources told Reuters.
Reliance Industries Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corp, Bharat Petroleum Corp, and Mangalore Refinery Petrochemicals Ltd asked the oil-rich kingdom for further one million barrels each in the next month, one of the sources said.
State-run Saudi Aramco, the largest international oil firm, didn't comment on the matter.
“The Indian refiners are concerned about the loss of Iranian crude once the sanctions start and are seeking exemptions. Refiners in the country have placed orders to buy 9 million barrels from Iran in November,” Reuters said.
