Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia will announce a new visa scheme on 27 September in accordance with the country’s initiative, game-changer, to attract international tourists, Okaz newspaper reported.
The new visa will open the kingdom to visitors from more than 50 countries.
It will be also offered for SAR 440 ($117) and will have a 90-day duration.
Tourists can apply for the visa online or upon arrival, data showed.
The economic impact of new tourist visas will be significant.
It is worth noting that Saudi authorities have revealed plans to restrict certain hospitality jobs for its own citizens by the end of 2019.
