Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia unveiled its Saudi Winter 2025 program, aiming to cement the Kingdom’s status as a premier global winter destination.
Minister of Tourism and Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) Chairman Ahmed Al-Khateeb launched the initiative in Riyadh on Sunday, joined by representatives from more than 120 private-sector partners.
Al-Khateeb said the program builds on five years of growth in visitor numbers and spending, aligning with Vision 2030 goals to attract 150 million tourists by the end of the decade. Fahd Hamidaddin, STA CEO, highlighted a unified platform offering innovative winter packages and global events designed to boost tourism spending and international arrivals.
Running through the first quarter of 2026 under the slogan “Winter Live,” the program features over 1,200 tourism products and 600 special offers across major destinations, including Riyadh, Diriyah, Jeddah, AlUla, the Red Sea, and the Eastern Province, as well as Al-Qassim, Hail, and Madinah.
Highlights include concerts, cultural performances, poetry evenings, family-friendly beach activities, and high-profile events such as the Nabd AlUla Festival, World Rally Championship, powerboat races in Jeddah, and special activations with MrBeast and WWE’s Royal Rumble during Riyadh Season.
