Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Airlines will start discussions with Airbus and Boeing to get narrow-body aircrafts before the end of 2017, the director general Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser said.
Flyadeal, the subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Airlines will get 30 single-aisle aircraft, Reuters on Thursday reported, citing Al-Jasser as saying.
The talks of getting the new aircrafts will start before 31 December.
The discussions aim to get Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 aircrafts.
“Prior to Flyadeal’s launch that the airline would operate an entirely leased fleet of between 25 and 50 aircraft by 2020,” Al-Jasser indicated.
