Saudi Aramco signs 4 contracts to build SAR 50bn Fadhili plant

Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Aramco signs the last four engineering contracts of its SAR 50 billion Fadhili gas processing project located in northwest of Jubail, which will contribute to fulfilling the growing domestic demand on energy in the Kingdom.

The signed contracts included an infrastructure building contract for Hasbah natural gas field, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Wednesday.

Fadhili is a key step in doubling the gas supplies in the Kingdom in the coming ten years to accomplish the industrial development and economic goals of the Saudi National Transformation Programme (NTP) 2030, Aramco’s chief executive Amin Nasser said.

The project is expected to be completed by 2019, with a total processing capacity of 2.5 billion standard cubic feet per day of non-associated gas.
