Saudi Aramco to provide crude supplies to Egypt’s refineries for further 6M

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum has agreed with state-run Saudi Aramco to continue providing crude oil supplies to Egyptian refineries for additional six months, starting from last January, the Egyptian oil minister said on Tuesday.

Aramco will supply Egyptian refineries with 500,000 barrels of crude oil per month until next June, Tarek El Molla told Reuters.

The world's largest oil producer had begun trial supply of crude oil for Egypt’s refineries in November and December 2017 and started regular supply over the course of the previous year.

In 2016, Saudi Arabia approved to provide Egypt with 700,000 tonnes of refined oil products for five years.
