Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Binladen Group (SBG) said in a circular that it will begin repaying all of its overdue salaries to its workers and employees starting next week.
Salary repayments will be made to citizens and residents starting Monday, 5 September, said Abdullah bin Mahfouz, a board member at the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) on his official Twitter account.
SBG has suffered a financial crisis starting 2015 after a crane collapsed in Makkah’s Holy Mosque during the Hajj season, resulting in the death of 107 people. A royal decree was issued as a result of the crash to halt SBG from taking up any new contracts.
