Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) denied what some media sources reported about handling only 1% of the complaints in 2016, said the spokesman Adel Abu Hameed.
The CITC addressed about 96% of the submitted complaints, and it implemented the regulatory procedures regarding the rest 4%, Abu Hameed added through his official Twitter account.
The Saudi body currently reformed its organisational structure and developed a sector for users and partners.
Complaints submitted to the CITC against telecommunications companies reached 17,190 in the third quarter of 2017.
