Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) on Wednesday announced that its board approved distributing 7% of the share nominal value in cash dividends, with a per-share dividend of SAR 0.70 for 2017.
The state-controlled utility will announce the distribution date later, according to a filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
SEC’s net profits rose 6.78% to SAR 5.26 billion in the third quarter of 2017.
By the end of Tuesday’s session, SEC’s stock inched up 0.05% at SAR 21.09.
