Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Electricity Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Eastern Province Municipality to conduct practical studies to build a plant for converting waste into electrical energy.
Upon the results of the planned studies, Saudi Electricity will enter agreements to begin the implementation of the project, CEO, Ziad Al Sheha, said, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Al Sheha added that his company, at a later stage, will invite developers and potential technical partners working in in the field of converting waste into electrical energy.
