Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s gross domestic product (GDP) at constant prices fell by 4.2% on a yearly basis during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020.
However, the kingdom’s seasonally-adjusted GDP grew by 1.2% in the quarter ended on 30 September 2020 when compared to the previous quarter, data from the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat) showed.
Noteworthy, this is the first time GaStat publishes flash estimates for Quarterly GDP. The step aims to provide more timely information on the Saudi economy to decision-makers.
