Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi gross domestic product (GDP) in constant prices inched down 0.74% during 2017, compared to 2016, said on Thursday the General Authority for Statistics’ (GASTAT) data.
The Kingdom’s GDP in constant prices hit SAR 2.568 trillion in 2017, compared to SAR 2.587 trillion in the year earlier, the GASTAT added.
Year-on-year, the Saudi GDP in current prices increased 6%, reaching SAR 2.564 trillion in 2017, compared to SAR 2.418 trillion.
The Kingdom’s government sector's GDP levelled up 4.6% in current prices and rose 1.7% in constant prices in 2017, compared to the year before.
