Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's gross domestic product (GDP) per person increased 3.5% to SAR 19,560 ($5,210) in the third quarter of 2017, compared to SAR 18,900 in the year-ago period, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said in a report on Wednesday.
The kingdom's gross national income per capita hit SAR 20,030 ($5,340) during Q3-17, compared to SAR 19,400 ($5,170) in the same period a year earlier, the GASTAT added.
Saudi GDP amounted to SAR 639.98 billion during Q3-17, versus SAR 605.08 billion in the corresponding period the year before, while the gross national income hit SAR 655.42 billion, up from SAR 621.06 billion during Q3-16.
Saudi population reached 32.73 million during Q3-17, against 32.02 million in the year-ago period.
