Saudi Hollandi posts SAR 540m profits in Q2

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Hollandi Bank’s (SHB) profits marginally increased 0.1% year-on-year to SAR 539.73 million ($143.93 million) in the second quarter of 2016 from SAR 539.2 million ($ 143.78 million), according to a bourse filing.

The slight rise in net profit was due to the increase in total operating income by 2.7%.

Total operating expenses levelled up 6.9% on higher general and administrative expenses.

On the other hand, the bank’s net profits fell 2.49% to SAR 1.05 billion in H1-16 compared to SAR 1.08 billion in the same period of the previous year.
