Saudi Indices open Sunday in red

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Sunday’s trading session with a negative performance, dragged by the fall of banking and telecommunications stocks.

By 10:40 am Saudi time, the main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 12.3 points, or 0.14%, to 8,613.9 points.

TASI’s traded volume reached 14.6 million shares exchanged through nearly 15,570 transactions at a turnover of SAR 358 million.

The food retail sector led decliners after sliding 0.82%, while the real estate investment funds sector headed gainers with 0.35%.

The stock of Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons topped losers and dropped 9.86%, whereas the Al Gassim Investment Holding Co’s stock headed risers after adding 3.4%.

In the meantime, the joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, the MT30 index, slipped 3.12 points, or 0.24%, to 1,274.42 points.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell 7.12 points, or 0.21%, to 3,423.77 points.

Arab Sea Information System Co.’s stock was Nomu’s worst performer with 5.96%.
